A will or testament is a legal document that expresses a person’s wishes as to how their property is to be distributed after their death and as to which person is to manage the property until its final distribution. A probate is a certified copy of a will issued by the court that acts as a proof that it was the last will of the person who made it. A Will ensures that your belongings do not devolve as per the laws of inheritance but as per your wishes. Its not mandatory to register a will but is a good practice to register it at the office of sub-registrar.
