How Will We Help in EPR Compliance?

EPR Compliance involves two main activities that include – Fulfilling EPR Target and Updating Procurement and Sales Data. Below are the details about the same

      Fulfilling the EPR Target

Fulfilling EPR Target is one of the major and mandatory things to be performed by all the registered entities. The EPR Target can be fulfilled in two ways:

      • Recycling the waste equivalent to the target through an EPR Registered Recycler who will generate the requisite certificate. This certificate can be used to meet the target and submit the annual returns
      • Buying the certificates or credit points equivalent to the target from any other entity to meet the target and thereby submit annual returns.
      Updating Procurement and Sales Data:

All the plastic packaging material purchased and sold in that financial year has to be updated including the following details:

      • Type of Plastic Packaging
      • Quantity of Plastic Packaging
      • % Recycled content in the plastic packaging
      • Buyer or Seller details and if the seller is EPR Registered so that responsibility or the target can be passed on.

Based on this data, EPR Target for the next year is generated that as to be accepted before filing the annual returns.
