DGFT implements Import Management System for import of restricted IT Hardware.

DGFT implements Import Management System for import of Laptops, Tablets, All-in-one Personal Computers, Ultra small form factor computers and Servers under HSN 8471 was ‘Restricted’.

The details are as follows:

1. Importers shall apply in Import Management System for Import Authorization on DGFT Website.
2. Application portal will be open from 13-12-2024 to 15-12-2024
3. Any authorization issued for import of restricted IT Hardware under IMS shall be valid till 31-12-2025
4. Importer is allowed to submit multiple applications in the year.
5. Any request for amendment arising during the validity of the such authorization may be submitted on the DGFT website.
