Deadlines extended for Quarterly and Annual Returns Filing under Waste Tyre EPR Rules.
The Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change has concede an extension for all registered entities under the Hazardous and Other Wastes (Management & Transboundary Movement) Amendment Rules, 2022, to file their quarterly and annual returns. The deadlines have extended from 1st September 2024 to 31st December 2024 for the Financial Year 2023-24.
Waste Tyres registered entities can file their returns within the extended period at (www.eprtyrescpcb.in).
The filing deadline for quarterly and annual returns has been extended until 31st December 2024, as approved by the Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) in letter No. 12/136/2021-HSM dated 18th November 2024. Registered entities can continue generating and transferring Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) Certificates during this period. This extension provides businesses extra time to ensure compliance with Waste Tyre EPR regulations. Entities are encouraged to complete their filings by the revised deadline to avoid non-compliance issues.
