Rescheduling of Launch Date for Preferential eCoO 2.0 System

We would like to inform all concerned stakeholders that the launch date for the enhanced Preferential Certificate of Origin (eCoO) system, eCoO 2.0, has been extended to 17th January 2025. Earlier it was schedule for 21st December 2024, this revised timeline allows for a smoother transition to the upgraded system.
Furthermore, as per Trade Notice No. 36/2023-2024 dated 26th December 2023, it is mandatory for Non-Preferential Certificates of Origin (CoO) to be filed electronically on the eCoO 2.0 platform starting 1st January 2025. Non-Preferential CoO Issuing Agencies listed under Appendix 2E of the FTP, as well as exporters, are urged to ensure compliance with this new requirement.
This Trade Notice is issued with the approval of competent authority.
