DGFT Reinstates and Amends SION C-888

We’re pleased to share an important update from the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT).
In exercise of powers under Paragraph 1.03 and 2.04 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2023 (as amended), DGFT has reinstated and amended the Standard Input Output Norms (SION C-888).
This move aims to streamline export-import operations and provide greater clarity for exporters dealing with this category. The revised norms are expected to facilitate smoother trade processes and enhance compliance.

Effect of the Public Notice: The SION (C-888) which was suspended vide PN No. 56 dated 14.01.2020, has been reinstated and amended.
