DGFT Notifies Revised RoDTEP Rates from May 2025
The Government of India has announced amendments to the RoDTEP (Remission of Duties and Taxes on Exported Products) scheme effective May 1, 2025. These changes are made under the powers of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 and in line with the revised Customs Tariff Schedule through the Finance Act, 2025.
Key Highlights:
• Changes have been made in Appendix 4R, which includes the RoDTEP rates and value caps.
• The updated rates align with the revised Customs Tariff Act, 1975.
• Exporters are advised to review the updated schedule to understand how these changes may impact their product categories.
