DGFT extends last date to submit applications under Amnesty Scheme

The Amnesty Scheme for Closure of Cases of default in Export Obligation under Advance Authorisation and EPCG Schemes are notified that the last date to submit the application under Amnesty Scheme has been extended till 31.12.2023.
It is also informed that the Policy Relaxation Committee (PRC)/EPCG Committees consider each application based on individual facts and circumstances on a case-to-case basis. Since Policy Relaxation is not a matter of right, all such authorisation holders are advised to not wait till their requests are decided by the PRC / EPCG Committees and submit their applications for closure of default in Export Obligation under Amnesty Scheme by the set date of 31.12.2023. Any application for relaxation or clarification would not form a ground for relief or extension of permissible time period for filing of application under Amnesty Scheme beyond 31.12.2023.
All Advance Authorisation and EPCG authorisation holders covered under the Amnesty Scheme are requested to avail benefit of the scheme as the last date for filing application will not extend beyond 31.12.2023.
