DGFT adds 11 Food Entry Points in the Revised General Notes regarding Import Policy.

DGFT revises General Notes regarding Import Policy under Schedule 1(Import Policy) ITC (HS), 2022.
Earlier FSSAI had notified Authorised Officers to handle food import clearance at 150 Food Import Entry Points (Covering 27 Sea Ports, 15 Airports, 31 Land Customs Stations and 77 Inland Container Depots.) which has now been increased in the revised General Notes to 161 Food Import Entry Point (Covering 28 Sea Ports, 16 Airports, 32 Land Customs Stations and 85 Inland Container Depots.) which is shown in the table below.
There is also a revision in the existing Food Import Entry Point. (ICD Nagpur [INNGP6] to ICD Mihan [INKPK6])
