Certificate of Inspection for Rice exports is limited to EU member states, UK, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland

The Central Government makes the following amendment to the Notification No. 19/2024-2025 dated 05-07-2024 with immediate effect to the Policy Condition of the sub heading 1006 for the export of Rice (Basmati and Non-Basmati)
The amendment for the for the Notification is shown below:

i. Export to EU Member States and European Countries namely United Kingdom, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland permitted subject to issuance of Certificate of Inspection by Export Inspection Council/Export Inspection Agency.
ii. Certificate of Inspection by Export Inspection Council/Export Inspection Agency shall not be mandatory for export to remaining European Countries with immediate effect for a period of six months i.e. till 09-09-2025 |
