Foreign Trade Policy Update: DGFT Issues New Amendment

The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has issued an amendment to Notification No. 18/2025-26 dated 17.06.2025. This amendment is made under the powers granted by Section 3 and 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992, along with paragraphs 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) 2023, as amended from time to time.

These changes are part of the ongoing updates to streamline and regulate India’s foreign trade policies. Traders and exporters are advised to review the latest amendment carefully and ensure compliance.

2. The Import Policy Condition of the following ITC (HS) codes is amended as under (changes made are in bold letters):
