The CHIP Import Monitoring System (CHIMS) has been officially discontinued by the central government to streamline import processes.

Central Government discontinues the requirement of compulsory registration of CHIMS amending the Import Policy Condition of the following items covered under Chapter 85 of ITS (HS), 2022, Schedule – I (Import Policy) the items are shown below:
