Withdrawal of Track and Trace System for Drug Export Formulations.

Withdrawal of Track and Trace System for Drug Export Formulations.

The Director General of Foreign Trade has officially withdrawn Para 2.76 from the Handbook of Procedures 2023, which previously outlined the procedure for implementing the Track and Trace system for export consignments of drug formulations.

This change means that the responsibility for implementing the authentication system for drug formulations being exported will now fall under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The implementation will follow the provisions set forth in the Drug Rules of 1945.

This update comes into effect immediately. For more details, exporters should refer to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare for guidance on the new process.
