DGFT Invites Feedback on SIONs for Automobile Tyres.
The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has initiated a review of the existing Standard Input Output Norms (SIONs) related to automobile tyres (Codes: A-1722, A-1717, A-1667, A-1666, A-1673, A-1665, A-1664, A-1663).
All stakeholders including EPCs, exporters, trade bodies, and users of these SIONs are requested to review the current norms and share their suggestions for any required modifications.
Key Requirements for Submissions:
• Detailed justification for proposed changes
• Production and consumption data
• Wastage norms certified by a Chartered Engineer
• Any other relevant documentation
Deadline: Submit your suggestions within 45 days of this notice to nc7.dgft@gov.in.
This is an important opportunity to ensure that the SIONs reflect current industry practices and needs.
