DGFT Implements Mandatory Online Submission and Payment for Enforcement-Cum-Adjudication Processes
In a continued effort to promote a paperless trade environment and streamline business processes, the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has taken further steps to digitize the Enforcement-cum-Adjudication process under the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992.
Key Changes to Note:
- Mandatory Online Document Submission
All replies to Show Cause Notices and other information requests during proceedings under the FTDR Act, including adjudication, appeal, and review, must now be submitted online via the DGFT portal. Paper-based submissions will no longer be accepted. - Mandatory Online Payment of Fees
Penalties imposed under the FTDR Act must be paid online, directly against the corresponding ECA/Appeal or Review file. Avoid using the Miscellaneous payments feature to ensure proper accounting and avoid future complications.
